Tell me again why I own a Vett?

Postby eesparky91 =8= » Sun Apr 20, 2014 11:38 pm

Just got done changing the fuel filter (10PM tonight). Took 2.5 hours. They make it so hard to work on these. I almost took out the exhaust to get to it, but said F-It and took out the normal way. Next time I know what to do so it will be easier at 100K miles. I'm not sure how much I saved (if anything this time) doing it myself but at least I know if it's wrong who to go to.

No it was not, but it is done.

The next thing is to fix the seat tracks. After that I'll drop the tranny pan and replace the filter/fluid. While I'm at it I'll replace the diff fluid. After that I should be good until 100K when it is time to change plugs.

More power too you. I'm about at the time where I need to replace some of the friction stuff: brake pads and clutch plate. I also feel like I need to re-lube the bearings.

Brakes and some bushings done last year.

This is all normal maintenance with a few old part replacements. If I let someone else do it, it will be about $200 per item.

My next house will have a 12 car bay with a full lift and a main house having 1 room. :)

This is actually fun.

I reckon the entire 12 bays are the man cave.
