Factor VIII Contingency is dedicated to the community and players of Asheron’s Call 2. To further the enjoyment of the players on the Leafcull server, some of our veteran members have volunteered to have an Osteth Vault Night. We will be leading vault tours and assisting new players with the questions.
To take the tour, you will need to be at the designated spot BEFORE the scheduled time. The tour will leave at the time given. Also, you will need to have your own glyph for that vault. If you have extras, please bring them to share, but do not expect the group to go find one. Depending on the vault, we may find one on the way, but you will be left behind if we get to the vault and you do not have a glyph to get in. We can open a portal back to town, so you will be safe.
Our goal is to get 100% of the people on these tours through the vaults alive. Help us reach our goal by working as a team.
Standard Vault Tour Rules
• Many of these starting locations are very close to the vaults that they are touring, if they are not, such as Drudge Citadel, you will be making a trek to the vault. Follow the leader there and stay in communication if possible.
• We will take a starting count and after each jump we will be taking another count to make sure everyone is still together.
• Stay with the group. When people run ahead, they tend to get into trouble and then run back to the group for protection. This brings the monster(s) chasing them right to the group. You will have powerful(30+ level) Factor VIII members with you, but we cannot protect everyone if we have the whole vault pulled down on us at one time.
• Wait for the command to attack. If you all hit the same enemy at once with everything you have, they will fall quickly and do very little damage keeping everyone safe. If you are with one of our Lugian Tactician(Gorathal, Gunthor, or Pickle), wait for them to put up a safety wall before you begin shooting at the monster. This will allow people to fall back to relative safety.
• If you are hurt, run and call out for help. Don’t go nose to nose with big monsters if you can help it. Let the group help you so that everyone lives through this.
• Once at the end of the vault, stop before you go into the vestibule and wait for the final head count and a buff up session. In some cases, the boss is far away from the vestibule portal. You will have the buff up session inside the vestibule.
• The Factor VIII tour leader will not be able to go into the vestibule in most cases because we have already finished these vaults. A leader, usually a ranger/archer, will be assigned as leader. She/he will announce when to fire on the boss.
• Once the boss is dead, everyone rush to the portal and teleport into the shard room. Once in the shard room, leave the fellowship. That way everyone is guaranteed full XP on touching the shard.

Remember that all times are Eastern Time. Central is 1 hour behind, Mountain is 2 hours behind, and Pacific is 3 hours behind.
IE: The Arwic tour will begin at 5pm EST, 4pm CST, 3pm MST, and 2pm PST.
